KUALA LUMPUR, 21 April 2026 – ENRA Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd (“EES”), a subsidiary of ENRA Group Berhad, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) at the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference 2026 (“DSA 2026”) to explore strategic opportunities in the naval maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) sector.

The MoU marks a significant step in strengthening ENRA’s position within Malaysia’s maritime defence ecosystem, particularly in supporting propulsion systems, power generation, and lifecycle sustainment for naval vessels, including those operated by the Royal Malaysian Navy.

Under the collaboration, EES will focus on exploring opportunities in naval MRO services and lifecycle support, participating in targeted defence-related tenders and projects, leveraging technical expertise to deliver integrated engineering solutions, and advancing codification capabilities, including parts identification, standardisation, and logistics support frameworks.

The initiative reflects ENRA’s commitment to enhancing local capabilities in high-value engineering services, while contributing to long-term operational readiness and sustainability within the defence sector, in support of Malaysia’s national defence industry policy and its objectives to strengthen local capabilities and self-reliance.

Chief Executive Officer of EES, Ikhlas Bin Zainal, said the collaboration represents an important milestone for the company’s expansion into naval support services.
